Lucia Realty, we were immensely honored when they approached us for our next collaboration: a comprehensive property photography and aerial update for their renowned Sotogrande Hotels. This massive project spanned three distinct and beautiful locations across the Philippines—Davao, Iloilo, and Palawan.

For our team, opportunities like this are absolute gold. We share a profound love for traveling and discovering new places, so being able to pack our gear and explore the country while doing what we are most passionate about is a literal dream come true. Global Delivery, Local Light.

Landing an advertising campaign with a global logistics giant like FedEx is a phenomenal milestone. When the inquiry came in from FedEx Global for a comprehensive three-day commercial shoot across Metro Manila and its surrounding provinces, we were absolutely thrilled. The creative brief called for a dynamic mix of ground stills and aerial photography to showcase the iconic FedEx delivery trucks in action. As fully licensed CAAP drone pilots, we were perfectly equipped to capture those sweeping, high-angle shots safely and cinematically, ensuring the brand’s massive worldwide scale was translated effortlessly into every frame.

The logistics of the shoot turned into an incredible, fast-paced road trip that perfectly blended work and play. We chased the best light from the breezy ridges of Tagaytay down to the bustling streets of Calamba and Las Piñas. Back in the heart of the Metro, we framed the FedEx trucks against the historic stone walls of Intramuros, the neoclassical grandeur of the Manila Central Post Office, and the towering modern skyline of Ayala Avenue in Makati, before wrapping up at their main office hub in Parañaque. Framing such a universally recognized vehicle against these diverse, distinctly Philippine backdrops was a brilliant creative challenge.

A Tropical Escape: Capturing Berto’s Farm and Resort in Lipa City

Sometimes the best creative opportunities happen spontaneously when you least expect them. We recently traveled down to Lipa City for some much-needed rest and relaxation at Berto’s Farm and Resort. Owned by a good friend from back home, this modern, Bali-inspired private sanctuary is an absolute hidden gem. As property photographers, our cameras are never far from our side. After experiencing its lush, minimalist beauty firsthand, we couldn’t resist offering our photography services as a small gesture of gratitude to help elevate their marketing and social media presence.

The absolute highlight of our stay was getting to personally experience their newest addition, a stunning house affectionately named Berto’s 2.0. It is a masterpiece of tropical design, perfectly balancing rustic native architecture with luxurious modern comforts. From the beautiful thatched-roof villas and open-air dining spaces to the inviting emerald pool surrounded by dense greenery, every corner of the property is thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere is profoundly relaxing, offering a quiet, intimate escape that instantly makes you feel at home.

Finding the Perfect Light: Resort & Aerial Photography at La Jolla Luxury Beach Resort

When a location is this spectacular, sometimes one visit just isn’t enough. We recently had the incredible opportunity to shoot at La Jolla Luxury Beach Resort in Bagac, Bataan. The client actually brought us in twice—both for 3-day, 2-night stays—which allowed us to perfectly time the natural lighting across their massive 60-hectare tropical estate. From the warm, inviting textures of their beautifully designed rooms to the majestic architectural entrance glowing in the morning sun, we had the time we needed to capture the resort at its absolute best.

Beyond the gorgeous interiors, La Jolla is an absolute playground that demands to be captured from every angle. Taking to the sky, we were able to showcase the true scale of the property, sweeping over their three sprawling outdoor pools and the lush, private beach cove. We made sure to capture the vibrant energy of the resort as well, tracking the thrilling ATV trail rides and getting dynamic aerial shots of the banana boat carving through the crystal-clear waters of the bay.

Heritage and Elegance

When the inquiry to shoot Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar arrived, the excitement within our team was immediate. Having witnessed the incredible development of this Bagac, Bataan landmark from the 2010s into the 2020s, the opportunity to formally document its architectural evolution was an absolute honor. Beyond the assignment itself, the perk of staying on-site allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the environment. It is genuinely a beautiful place to step back, relax, and take a breath. The heritage style of the old village and the carefully restored casas carry a truly magical atmosphere, and our singular goal was to do justice to the breathtaking beauty of this historic destination.

To fully capture the immersive experience of the resort, the scope of the project expanded beyond stills to include full cinematic video production. Whether we were operating a cinema camera for a sweeping walkthrough or framing a precise photograph, we prioritized the intricate artistry of the property. They say the enchantment lies in the details, and Las Casas is a testament to that truth. We spent time zooming in on the rich textures of the carved wood, the intricate tile work, and the antique fixtures. By isolating these close-up elements, we highlighted the bespoke craftsmanship that makes the space so deeply captivating.

Coastal Elegance

We often say that we are profoundly grateful for every opportunity that comes our way, especially those that bring us back to our roots. Towards the end of the pandemic, as the world began to open up again, we had the privilege of shooting Anilao Awari Bay Beach Hotel and Resort. Documenting a beautiful coastal property right here in our home province of Batangas made the project feel incredibly special. It was a refreshing breath of fresh air and a brilliant reminder of the world-class destinations located just within our reach.

This initial collaboration was just the beginning of a fantastic relationship, as the resort soon booked us again for a comprehensive property update and a dedicated restaurant shoot. For our team, this extended project was the perfect avenue to showcase our versatility. While we always bring our signature cinematic approach to aerial, landscape, and architectural photography, Anilao Awari Bay allowed us to seamlessly expand our visual narrative into lifestyle and food photography. By capturing a model enjoying the infinity pool and styling the vibrant culinary offerings, we were able to tell a more complete, inviting story of the guest experience.

Above the Gold

When the inquiry from Okada Manila arrived in our inbox during the pandemic, just as lockdowns were beginning to ease, we were absolutely ecstatic. The opportunity to document one of the most iconic integrated resorts in the country was a massive milestone for us, but operating during such unprecedented times presented unique logistical hurdles. We knew that capturing the sheer magnitude of the property required relentless dedication. We meticulously mapped out our flight plans, committing to early call times to catch the crisp morning break and waiting out long days to seize the perfect, fleeting golden hour light.

The creative brief from the client was highly specific: they wanted the monumental glass facades to radiate a brilliant, luxurious gold to reflect the premium standard of the hotel. Achieving this signature golden aesthetic required a seamless blend of on-site hustle and technical expertise. After capturing the raw beauty of the property during those prime lighting windows, we poured hours of meticulous work into post-production. Through precise color grading and editing, we enhanced the natural reflections to ensure the sprawling glass curves glowed as an opulent, golden masterpiece that perfectly aligned with Okada’s grand brand identity.

Capturing Grandeur

Following our highly successful initial aerial photography project with Okada Manila, we returned to the property in late 2020 for a comprehensive visual update. For this grand project, our goal was to translate the sheer, magnificent scale of the integrated resort into our frames. To achieve this, we strategically incorporated a lifestyle model into the architectural shots. This human element perfectly highlights the massive, towering proportions of the iconic glass facades, the expansive pool decks, and the luxurious grand lobbies, allowing viewers to truly envision themselves stepping into this world-class destination.

Beyond the striking architecture and opulent interiors, this collaboration also expanded into culinary storytelling with a dedicated food photography session for Okada’s celebrated Medley Buffet. Capturing the vibrant, meticulously prepared dishes added a delicious layer of depth to the property’s overall narrative. We are immensely proud of the work produced during this grand-scale project. It stands as a perfect reflection of the premium standard we bring to every shoot, designed to help property owners and hoteliers stand out in a competitive market.

While we had watched this location develop over time, stepping inside still took our breath away. It offers the exact same magical, heritage look and feel as its provincial counterpart, but masterfully hidden right in the bustling heart of the Metro. It is a breathtaking, nostalgic sanctuary that completely transports you to another era the moment you walk through the gates.

Every corner of this property is purposefully designed for unforgettable experiences. During the shoot, we made sure to highlight the beautifully crafted event spaces, the intimate small chapel, and their spectacular dining areas. Las Casas QC takes immense pride in its culinary offerings, making it an absolute must-try destination for a romantic date. To capture this romantic and historical atmosphere, we focused heavily on the rich textures of the brickwork, the intricate woodwork, and the overall vintage mood that gives the space its unique character.
