When the inquiry to shoot Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar arrived, the excitement within our team was immediate. Having witnessed the incredible development of this Bagac, Bataan landmark from the 2010s into the 2020s, the opportunity to formally document its architectural evolution was an absolute honor. Beyond the assignment itself, the perk of staying on-site allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the environment. It is genuinely a beautiful place to step back, relax, and take a breath. The heritage style of the old village and the carefully restored casas carry a truly magical atmosphere, and our singular goal was to do justice to the breathtaking beauty of this historic destination.
To fully capture the immersive experience of the resort, the scope of the project expanded beyond stills to include full cinematic video production. Whether we were operating a cinema camera for a sweeping walkthrough or framing a precise photograph, we prioritized the intricate artistry of the property. They say the enchantment lies in the details, and Las Casas is a testament to that truth. We spent time zooming in on the rich textures of the carved wood, the intricate tile work, and the antique fixtures. By isolating these close-up elements, we highlighted the bespoke craftsmanship that makes the space so deeply captivating.
